David Hericks

David Hericks is a seasoned marine professional with extensive experience in oceanography and hydrography. Currently serving as Principal Oceanographer and Hydrographer at Tetra Tech since April 2013, David provides technical marine project management for offshore wind energy and underwater power transmission projects. Previous roles include Oceanographic Engineer at HydroGraphix LLC, where David specialized in instrumentation consulting and hydrographic surveying, and Senior Oceanographer Hydrographer at Pacific International Engineering, where David established a field services group. David’s career began with positions at Mecco Incorporated, Beak Consultants, ENSR, and the US Army Corps of Engineers, culminating in a BS in Oceanographic Technology from the Florida Institute of Technology.
