Jon Ramsey

Jon Ramsey is an experienced aquatic ecologist currently serving as an Associate Ecologist at Tetra Tech since October 2025. Previously, Jon held the position of Principal Aquatic Ecologist at both Stantec and Southern Water, demonstrating extensive expertise in aquatic ecosystems. Prior roles include Senior Aquatic Ecologist at WSP in the UK and Senior Ecological Consultant at Amec Foster Wheeler. Jon's career began as a Biodiversity Technical Officer with the Environment Agency and includes experience as a Field Ecologist at SLR Consulting. Educational credentials include an MSc in Ecology and a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Sciences, both from Oxford Brookes University, where additional support was provided to students with disabilities. Furthermore, Jon worked as a Temporary District Lock and Weir Keeper with the Environment Agency between May and October from 2005 to 2010.
