Peter Hizalev has a diverse and extensive work experience in the technology industry. Peter started their career at Mindjet in 2000, where they worked on various projects and led the architecture for Mindjet's team collaboration product. Peter then joined the Palo Alto Research Center (PARC) in 2009 as a Software Architect, where they focused on productizing research in natural language processing and developed an intelligent email assistant. In 2013, Peter co-founded Sameroom.io and served as the CTO, initially starting as a team chat product and then pivoting into a bridging solution between different chat products.

In 2017, Peter joined 8x8 through their acquisition of Sameroom.io, and they became the Director of Engineering. During their time at 8x8, they were responsible for re-implementing the team chat product. In 2020, Peter co-founded Tensil.ai, a company focused on finding novel approaches to machine learning inference acceleration in hardware. Peter served as a co-founder and ML compiler lead at Tensil.ai.
