Ken Fountain is an accomplished professional in the field of scientific applications with extensive experience in analytical chemistry and leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Vice President of Scientific Applications at TetraScience, Ken has previously held positions such as Senior Research Fellow at Vertex Pharmaceuticals and Senior Director of Scientific Operations at Waters Corporation, where oversight included a team of over 70 analytical chemists and significant contributions to product development in various scientific domains. Ken's expertise encompasses chromatography and mass spectrometry, and Ken has been instrumental in driving sales growth and technological advancements in biopharmaceutical applications. Ken holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry from Tufts University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
