Andrew Mahaleris

Andrew Mahaleris currently serves as Press Secretary for both the Office of Texas Governor Greg Abbott and Texans For Greg Abbott, a position held since January 2023. Prior to this, Andrew held various roles within the Republican National Committee, including Communications Director for Maine and New Hampshire and Deputy Communications Director. Andrew's experience spans several positions in political communications, including serving as National Field Coordinator for The Leadership Institute and Press Consultant for the Baker-Polito Inauguration Committee. Andrew's early career included roles such as Field Director for the Massachusetts Republican Party and various positions in the U.S. House of Representatives. Andrew is a graduate of the University of Maine and has a background in computer technologies from the Capital Area Technical Center.
