Kelsey Kling

Kelsey Kling has extensive experience in government relations and educational policy, currently serving at Texas AFT since February 2022. Prior to this, Kelsey Kling worked at the Texas Education Agency from December 2009 to February 2022 as Fine Arts Coordinator, providing statewide leadership and support for fine arts education while managing course review processes. Additionally, Kelsey Kling held the role of Texas Assessment Policy Specialist, focusing on developing materials for the Texas state assessment program and navigating assessment policies. Earlier in Kelsey Kling's career, as an Assistant Editor at Publishers Resource Group, management of K-8 assessment development projects was undertaken. Kelsey Kling holds a Master of Arts in Theatre History and Criticism from Texas State University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts from Southern Methodist University.
