Aaron Bixby

Aaron Bixby is an accomplished professional in fire services and emergency management, currently serving as the Emergency Response Brigade Chief at SC Johnson since March 2020. In addition to this role, Bixby is a Guest Instructor at Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service - TEEX, specializing in industrial firefighting. Bixby has been a Fire Instructor at Gateway Technical College since 2010, focusing on firefighter survivability, rescue operations, and forcible entry techniques. Previously, Bixby worked for the City of Cudahy, where roles included Tactical EMT for the South Shore Joint Tactical Unit and Fire Lieutenant, responsible for training and operational effectiveness of firefighting teams. Additionally, Bixby served as a certified Krav Maga instructor at Chay’s Tae Kwon Do from 2013 to 2020. Educationally, Bixby holds a Master of Public Administration with a focus on Fire and Emergency Administration Management from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, along with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Fire and Emergency Response Management and a degree in Fire Science from Gateway Technical College.
