Bob Mueck

Bob Mueck is an accomplished professional in public safety and education with extensive experience in higher education security. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Public Safety at Montgomery College since January 2023, Mueck oversees the Public Safety Office at the Rockville Campus. Mueck has also been an Adjunct Instructor at the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service since 2014, teaching a FEMA-approved course on critical incident response, and a Program Evaluator for the American Council on Education since 2012. Previous roles include Director of Public Safety at St. John's College, Training Coordinator at George Washington University, and Police Academy Training Director at the University of Maryland Police. Mueck holds a Master of Global Affairs in Applied Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland institutions, with military service in both the US Coast Guard Reserve and the US Army Reserve.
