Ashley Drillen

Assistant Clinical Professor at Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi

I have worked as an adjunct faculty member with the College of Nursing and Health Sciences since 2017; however, this is my second semester as a full-time faculty member. I have taught clinicals across the program, in Fundamentals, MS 1, MS 2, OB and Community Health Nursing, face-to-face, and e-line. Last semester I also taught one section of Health Alterations.

I graduated from Texas A&M University with a BBA, so yes I am a proud Aggie. I also graduated from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi, twice! I have a BSN and an MSN with a focus in Nurse Education.

After college, I worked on an Ortho/Neuro/Trauma floor for a while before I made my switch to community health which I love. For 9 years, I was the Nurse Supervisor for a community health program, Nurse-Family Partnership, that works with first-time pregnant moms from pregnancy and until the child turns two years old. This is a passion of mine and I hope you have the chance to learn more about it in your nursing career.
