Charles Etheridge

Professor at Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi

A native of the Texas/Mexico Border, Chuck Etheridge earned his BA at the University of Texas at El Paso and his MA and PhD at TCU. He taught at McMurry University in Abilene, Texas for 15 years. While at McMurry, he helped participated in the development of the Core Curriculum program and was responsible for the English Department portion of the Title III grant that help modernize the campus' digital infrastructure. Eager for the opportunity to teach graduate school, he joined the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi faculty in 2004. Since coming to TAMUCC, he has worked to expand the English department's grant writing outreach and has helped expand departmental summer programming. He has been an Honors Fellow and a Haas Fellow.
