Jimena Burnett

Chimene Burnett earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English from Texas A&M-College Station in 2007 and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in 2015, respectively. She has worked at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in a variety of capacities: writing center tutor, graduate teaching assistant, Writing and Rhetoric professor (adjunct), seminar professor (adjunct), a research assistant, a Coastal Bend Writing Project consultant for several different projects, and an instructor for the Project Grad Summer Bridge Program. Currently, she is employed as an Assistant Professional Professor of Seminar with University College at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi with the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies with the College of Liberal Arts.
