Matthew Eichner

Dr. Eichner has a Ph.D. from the University of Oregon in Communication and Media Studies. He is currently a tenure-track assistant professor in the Department of Communications and Media at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Eichner is a former multimedia journalist, managing editor, sports editor and social media manager. His research interests are primarily at the intersection of communication and sport, along with journalism issues such as bias and sources.
