David Zapata

David Zapata is the VP of International Affairs and Executive Director of the Mexico Trade & Investment Policy Council at the Texas Association of Business. Previously, David served as the Assistant Secretary of State for Mexican and Border Affairs at The Office of the Texas Secretary of State. Prior to that, David was the Appointments Manager at the Office of Texas Governor Greg Abbott and the Outreach Director at the Republican Party of Texas. David holds a Master's degree in Urban Management & Public Affairs and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from St. Mary's University.
