Abigail Carter

Abigail Carter is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Assistant Attorney General for the Texas Attorney General since December 2021. Prior experience includes a role as a Law Clerk in the Civil Litigation Division at the Mississippi Attorney General's Office in June 2020, and a Law Clerk position at the State Treasury of Mississippi from May to August 2019. Abigail also completed an internship at Shivers & Shivers Immigration and Nationality Law in June 2016. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law (2018-2021) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Mississippi (2014-2018).
