Texas Attorney General
Alyssa C. currently serves as an Assistant Attorney General for the Texas Attorney General since January 2024, following a tenure in the same role at the New Mexico Office of the Attorney General from September 2022 to September 2023. Previously, Alyssa worked as a Trial Attorney at both the Santa Fe District Attorney (February 2021 - August 2022) and the Bernalillo County District Attorney (2018 - 2021). Early legal experience includes an internship at the United States Attorney's Office, where Alyssa drafted prosecution memoranda and conducted legal research. Additional experiences include a judicial externship at Douglas County Juvenile Court, an internship at the Third Judicial District Court, and various roles in business and customer service. Alyssa holds a Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Economics from Creighton University.
