Amaka Ikejiani

Amaka Ikejiani, ESQ., currently serves as an Assistant Attorney General at the Texas Attorney General's Office since April 2018. Prior to this role, Amaka gained experience as a Student Attorney at the Thurgood Marshall School of Law Legal Clinic, focusing on wills, estates, and guardianship, and as a Judicial Clerk at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, where there was involvement in the examination of EEOC files and trial preparation. Earlier experience includes work as a Law Clerk at Rhonda Gelfman and Associates, conducting legal research on immigration matters, and as a PR intern at Rosenhaus Sports & KCB Marketing, creating marketing plans for NFL clients. Amaka holds a Juris Doctor from Texas Southern University—Thurgood Marshall School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Florida International University.
