Patrick Brezik

Assistant Attorney General at Texas Attorney General

Patrick Brezik has over two decades of legal experience, currently serving as an Assistant Attorney General in the Transportation Division for the Office of the Attorney General of Texas since May 2004. As Eastern District Team Leader since August 2022, Brezik represents the State of Texas in eminent domain proceedings, managing cases with values ranging from thousands to millions of dollars. Previous experience includes roles as a Contract Attorney at Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw LLP, and law clerk positions at Mithoff & Jacks, L.L.P., where Brezik drafted legal documents for various civil litigation matters. In addition to legal work, Brezik has contributed as a volunteer in multiple roles for events such as SXSW and Austin City Limits Music Festival. Brezik holds a Juris Doctor degree from The University of Texas School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
