Seth Howard

UTP Portfolio Performance Lead at Texas Department of Transportation

Seth Howard has a diverse work history showcasing leadership and organizational skills. Seth started their career at Christian Brothers Automotive, gaining customer service and sales experience. Seth later moved on to roles in government and education at Texas House of Representatives, U.S. House of Representatives, and Lone Star College, where they served as a Coordinator and Assistant to the Director. Seth then transitioned to project management at VLP Contractors, LLC, where they served as a Project Coordinator and Service Manager. Currently, they are leveraging their experience at the Texas Department of Transportation as the UTP Portfolio Performance Lead, overseeing a $142.3 billion portfolio.

Seth Howard began their educational journey by earning their High School Diploma from Eagle Summit Academy in 2004. Seth then furthered their studies by obtaining an Associate's Degree in Required Core Classes from Lone Star College in 2013. Seth went on to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Houston, completing it in 2015. In 2016, they enrolled in The University of Texas at Arlington, where they earned a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) in 2018, along with a Certificate in Public Budgeting and Financial Management. In addition to their academic achievements, Seth also obtained the OSHA 10 certification from the Occupational Safety and Health Agency in May 2018.
