Sinthuka Vivekananthan

Sinthuka Vivekananthan possesses a robust background in environmental planning and community engagement, currently serving as an Environmental Project Planner at the Texas Department of Transportation since May 2024. Prior experience includes roles at Geotest Engineering, Inc. as an Environmental Professional and Assistant Environmental Professional from February 2020 to May 2024, as well as coordinating youth and peace initiatives with various organizations, including the British Council in Sri Lanka and UN Volunteers. Sinthuka's expertise in research on domestic violence, program design for youth reconciliation, and collaboration with NGOs has shaped impactful community programs. Sinthuka holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Asian University for Women and has also gained practical experience through internships in groundwater management and with organizations focused on women and youth empowerment.
