Yalda Shafi

Yalda Shafi is an experienced professional in project development and financial planning, currently serving as a Project Development Manager for the Texas Department of Transportation since December 2015. In this role, Yalda oversees a $7 billion financial planning system for transportation projects, ensuring proper funding allocation and conducting financial analyses to support project management. Prior to this position, Yalda was a Lead Teller at Wells Fargo, where supervision of transaction processes and compliance measures was key. With a background in engineering and contract analysis from Statoil, where Yalda achieved significant cost savings, and earlier roles in IT support at Baker Hughes, Yalda brings a diverse skill set in finance, project management, and technical analysis to the table. Yalda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Hardware Engineering from Azad University of Technology.
