Junru Wang

Junru Wang currently serves as the Medical Director of Lung Transplantation at The Texas Heart Institute since March 2023. Prior to this role, Junru Wang was an Associate Professor of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine and held various positions related to lung transplantation and advanced lung diseases at Texas A&M Health Science Center and Baylor University Medical Center. Clinical interests include evaluating patients for lung transplant, bridging to transplant, post-transplant management, and transplant program development. Junru Wang’s experience includes a fellowship at Doximity, curating critical medical literature, and a robust clinical background at Cleveland Clinic focusing on lung transplantation, critical care, and sleep medicine. Junru Wang completed an MBA at the University of Michigan and holds an M.B.B.S. from Manipal Academy of Higher Education.
