John Hawkins

John Hawkins has extensive experience in leadership and government relations within the healthcare sector, currently serving as President and CEO of the Texas Hospital Association since July 2004. Prior to this role, John Hawkins held the position of Senior Vice President for Government Relations at the same organization. Earlier in their career, John Hawkins was a Policy Analyst at the Sunset Advisory Commission from October 1998 to June 2004. Educationally, John Hawkins earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from The University of Texas at Austin, where studies were completed from 1983 to 1987, and also attended the LBJ School of Public Affairs from August 1987 to May 1989.
