Darrell Losoya is an experienced law enforcement professional with extensive service spanning several decades. Currently serving as a Field Service Representative for the Texas Municipal Police Association since September 2020, Darrell has held multiple leadership roles at the City of Alpine Police Department, including Chief of Police, Assistant Chief of Police, Police Lieutenant, Police Sergeant, and Police Officer, starting in December 1994. Previous experience includes serving as a Petty Officer Second Class in the US Navy from July 1989 to January 1996, where Darrell advanced from deck seaman to 2nd Class Boatswain's Mate on the USS Savannah. Additionally, Darrell worked as a Detention Officer at Brewster County Sheriff's Office from June 1993 to April 1994. Darrell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Sul Ross State University.
