James Womack

James Womack is an experienced law enforcement and education professional, currently serving as Coordinator/Lead Instructor and Adjunct Instructor at Texas A&M University-Commerce since August 2014. Additionally, Womack has held the position of Adjunct Faculty Instructor at the Caruth Police Institute since May 2018 and is a Sexual Assault and Family Violence (SAFVIC) Instructor for the Texas Municipal Police Association since March 2012. Previous roles include Chief of Police and Assistant Chief at Lake Worth Police Department, various positions at Paris Police Department, and service in the US Navy as a Second Class Petty Officer.
