Melissa Ford Maldonado currently serves as a Senior Fellow and Policy Director at the Texas Public Policy Foundation since August 2022, following a role as Executive Advisor at the Center for Advancing Opportunity from December 2020 to December 2021. Prior experience includes various positions at The White House, culminating in roles as Policy Analyst and Operations Manager within the Office of the Senior Advisor for American Innovation from June 2018 to December 2020. Melissa also interned in the Office of Political Affairs at The White House in early 2018. An alumna of the University of Texas at Tyler, Melissa holds a dual degree in Economics and Political Science and has been involved in diverse roles including serving as a Model United Nations Delegate and as Arts & Entertainment Editor for the university newspaper. Further experience includes positions in international internships and volunteer roles, emphasizing a commitment to public service and policy advocacy.
