Tony Abruscato is the current Chief Marketing Officer at the Texas Restaurant Association. Tony has nearly two decades of experience in marketing and communications, with a focus on strategic planning and implementation.
Tony began their career as a managing director at Chicago Gateway Green, where they oversaw the organization's marketing and communications efforts. Tony then went on to found Get Growing Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to promoting sustainable gardening and urban agriculture.
In 2010, Tony joined Strategia Consulting as a senior strategist. Tony worked with clients on media relations, crisis communications, and international business relations. Tony also served on the board of America in Bloom, an organization that promotes environmental stewardship and beautification through public gardens.
Tony has been involved with the Texas Restaurant Association since May of 2020, when they joined the board. In their current role as Chief Marketing Officer, they are responsible for leading the association's marketing and communications efforts.
