Bernadette Segura

Bernadette Segura is an experienced legal professional with a focus on health law and benefits advocacy. Currently serving as Health Law Team Manager and Staff Attorney at Texas RioGrande Legal Aid since January 2011, Bernadette specializes in state and federal benefits as well as federally subsidized housing. Previously, Bernadette was a board member for Project BRAVO and the Community Action Agency - San Antonio and worked as a Staff Attorney at Texas RioGrande Legal Aid from September 2005 to October 2008. Notably, Bernadette participated as an EJW Fellow at Equal Justice Works, contributing to initiatives aimed at assisting the homeless in San Antonio. Early career roles include State Legal Panel Coordinator and law intern at ACLU of Texas and Program Coordinator at the Center for Law and Border Studies.
