Gordon Ritter

Gordon Ritter is a seasoned venture capitalist and entrepreneur, serving as the Founder and General Partner at Emergence Capital since 2002, where notable investments include Salesforce.com, Veeva Systems, Zoom, and Bill. Ritter has held the position of Chair of the Board at Veeva Systems since August 2008, and has been an active Board Member for several companies including Hi Marley, Guru, Textio, Top Hat, and Insightly, among others. Additionally, Ritter co-founded Software As Service, Inc., an early SaaS platform company, alongside Marc Benioff. Gordon Ritter graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Princeton University and also attended Phillips Exeter Academy.
