Gunnar Kleveland

President and CEO, Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. at Textron

Gunnar Kleveland is the President and CEO of Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. and serves on Textron’s Executive Leadership Team.

Previously, Kleveland was president of TRU Simulation + Training Inc., which offers flight simulation and aircraft training products to the global commercial, civil and military aviation training markets. Prior to leading TRU Simulation + Training Inc., Kleveland was executive vice president of Integrated Operations for Bell, where he was responsible for the international assembly and manufacturing operations, quality management system, production engineering, EHS, external supply base and warehousing and logistics for all of Bell’s commercial and military programs. Kleveland has also held other senior leadership roles at Bell, including vice president, Supply Chain; director, Supply Chain Integration and director, Procurement Major Systems and Subcontracts. Prior to joining Textron in 2004, he was a fighter pilot in the Royal Norwegian Air Force (RNoAF) and finished his 14-year career in the air force as the Chief of Flight Safety.

Kleveland holds a degree from the RNoAF Academy, a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and a Master of Business Administration from Midwestern State University.
