Eddie Derenbecker has a solid work experience that spans over several industries. Eddie started their career at TGI Fridays in 1984 as a Head Waiter. Eddie then worked at The Wendy's Company as a General Manager from 1988 to 1990, before becoming a Kitchen Manager at Steak and Ale. Eddie returned to The Wendy's Company as a General Manager, this time with multi-unit responsibilities, from 1991 to 1995.
In 1995, Eddie joined TGI Fridays again, but this time as a Bar Manager. Eddie climbed the career ladder within the company, taking on roles such as Technical Support Analyst, Lead Technical Escalation Analyst, Product Support Supervisor, and Senior Business Support Analyst, where they were involved in various technical projects and oversaw the helpdesk.
In 2015, Eddie briefly worked at Cognizant as a Senior Executive Process Analyst. Then, in 2018, they became the Manager In-Store Solutions at TGI Fridays, overseeing in-store systems.
Most recently, in May 2021, Eddie became the IT Director, Restaurant Solutions at TGI Fridays. In this role, they manage processes, vendors, and multiple helpdesks, as well as infrastructure rollouts and upgrades in areas such as POS, KMS, and network and telecom.
Overall, Eddie has demonstrated strong leadership and technical skills in their work experience, particularly in the hospitality industry and IT management.
Eddie Derenbecker attended Union City High School from 1974 to 1976, Alfred Bonnabel High School from 1976 to 1978, and Nicholls State University from 1979 to 1981, where they studied Technology and Accounting.
