Sepideah Mohsenian-Rahman

Sepideah Mohsenian-Rahman, MSW, CA-ASW, currently serves as the Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and a Social Worker and School Counselor at The Thacher School since July 2022. Previous experience includes roles as a Consultant and Mural Arts Institute Manager at Mural Arts Philadelphia from May 2020 to January 2023, and Guest Curator at 12 Gates Gallery from January 2018 to September 2021. Sepideah also worked at The Thacher School as a Student Advisor and DEI Consultant between December 2018 and June 2020. Additional experience encompasses a position as a Staff Writer and Foundation Director for Muslim Girl, Program Director and Undergraduate Advisor at UC Santa Barbara, and various roles involving social work and research, including stints at Open Society Foundations, Mobilization for Justice, Inc., Montefiore Medical Center, and UNICEF. Sepideah holds a Master of Social Work from Columbia University and dual Bachelor's degrees in International Development and Religion/Religious Studies from American University.
