Walter Medrecki

Walter Medrecki has a diverse work experience in the field of procurement and engineering. Walter has been with Thales Alenia Space since 2000, where they have held various roles including Head of Strategy, Competitiveness, and Offsets - Procurement TAS JV, Head of Strategy Competitiveness and Sustainability - Procurement TAS JV, Head of Optical Systems, Procurement, and Head of Platform Electrical Equipment, Purchasing. Prior to joining Thales Alenia Space, they worked at Thales as an R&D engineer, where they were involved in the development of IPs and ICs for various applications.

Walter Medrecki has a Master's degree in Engineering with a major in avionics systems and microelectronics from ENAC - Ecole Nationale de l'Aviation Civile, which they obtained in 1998. Additionally, they have a Master of Science (MS) degree in Microelectronics & Microsystems from Toulouse INP, also obtained in 1998. Before pursuing these degrees, they completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Applied Physics from Université de Bourgogne, which they completed in 1996. In terms of certifications, they obtained a Private Pilot License from Direction Generale de l'Aviation Civile in June 1991.
