Yves de Groof

Yves De Groof has over two decades of work experience in various roles and companies. Yves is currently the Head of Industrial Process Engineering at Thales Alenia Space since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Responsable Architecture Industrielle at Thales Alenia Space from December 2018 to February 2022. Yves also served as the Head of Operational Excellence at GSK from July 2018 to November 2018. Yves was the Manufacturing Engineering Office Manager at IBA from April 2017 to July 2018. Yves has previous experience at Caterpillar Inc., where they held roles such as MWL New Products Introduction & Engineering Manager from September 2016 to April 2017, MWL Field Product Support / Service Engineering Supervisor from July 2012 to 2016, Components New Products Introduction / Industrialization Manager from 1999 to 2012, 6 Sigma Black Belt (certified) from 2006 to 2008, Engine Project Engineer from 2003 to 2006, and Engine Design Engineer from 1999 to 2003.

Yves De Groof completed their education in Mechanical Engineering at ISIB Brussels from 1994 to 1999, earning a Degree in Mechanical Engineering. In addition, they obtained a 6 Sigma Black Belt certification from Caterpillar Inc. in July 2007.
