Dean Labarbera

Dean LaBarbera has over 30 years of work experience in various roles within the engineering and telecommunications industry. Dean is currently serving as the Engineering Project Director at Thales Defense & Security, Inc., a position they have held since March 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Thales Communications as an Engineering Project Manager starting in July 2003. Before joining Thales Communications, they spent two years at Silicon Semiconductor as a Manager, RF Engineering. Dean also has experience with Ericsson, where they held the position of Manager, Radio Design from 1996 to 2001. Their earliest work experience was with Stanford Telecommunications, where they worked as a Program Manager from 1987 to 1997.

Dean LaBarbera attended The Johns Hopkins University, where they obtained a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) with a specialization in Microwave Communications. No specific dates were provided for their enrollment or graduation from this institution.
