Nicolas Simian

Nicolas Simian is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategy marketing and business development, currently serving as the Regional Director for Northern and Central Europe at Thales since April 2015. In a previous role as the UAE Strategy & Offsets Director, Nicolas also oversaw Thales' joint venture with the UAE industrial conglomerate EDGE as the Chief Executive Officer of Thales Advanced Solutions from July 2020 to March 2022. Prior to these positions, Nicolas held various leadership roles, including General Manager for self-employed projects focused on capture management and business development, Origination Lead for PPPs at Brookfield Johnson Controls, and multiple roles at Thales Australia involving exports sales and bid management. Nicolas holds an MSc in Project Management from ESC Lille / SKEMA Business School and a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from UTBM.
