Shawn Pinet

Shawn Pinet is a highly experienced security professional with a robust background in security analysis and certification. Currently serving as a Senior Security Analyst at Thales since April 2019, Shawn provides security consulting for various divisions, focusing on enhancing security and compliance for the Cloud Protection and Licensing product lines. In addition, Shawn has held the position of Senior Security & Certifications Analyst at Gemalto since September 2015, advising on best practices and ensuring products meet security standards throughout their lifecycle. Shawn's earlier roles include Common Criteria Program Manager and Global Infrastructure Architect at CGI, where significant involvement in Common Criteria evaluations and IT security lab infrastructure was demonstrated. Previous positions at Nova Networks and Nuvo Network Management further established expertise in systems architecture and management. Shawn holds educational credentials from the University of Ottawa and Carleton University.
