Kevin McGuire

Kevin McGuire currently serves as the HOLMES Manager at Thames Valley Police, a position held since February 2013, where responsibilities include managing the Major Crime HOLMES team, directing HOLMES training, overseeing Major Crime Disclosure Officers, and facilitating debriefs for investigative learning. Since January 2019, Kevin has also been a self-employed Visiting Lecturer, specializing in policing skills and law. Prior to this, Kevin held the role of Associate Lecturer at Cranfield University from July 2017 to September 2018. Kevin's extensive career at Thames Valley Police began in November 1981 and spanned over three decades, culminating in the roles of Detective Inspector and Detective Sergeant within Major Crime investigations, alongside various ranks from Police Constable to Sergeant.
