Nouar Shamout

Nouar Shamout is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in water resources and management. Currently, Nouar serves as a Studies Manager and Clean Water Regional Modelling Lead at Thames Water. Previously, Nouar held the position of Principal Water Engineer at Mott MacDonald and worked as a Senior Water Modelling Engineer at Atkins. Additionally, Nouar has experience as a Senior Water Resources Engineer while working as a consultant and freelancer. Furthermore, Nouar has contributed to academia as an Associate Professor at Damascus University in the Faculty of Civil Engineering. Nouar holds a Ph.D. in Engineering with a focus on Hydraulics and Control Engineering from The University of Manchester and a degree from The University of Damascus.
