Bill Petenes

Bill Petenes has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Bill started their career in the US Air Force as a Commissary Store Manager, where they managed grocery stores and warehouses. After leaving the military, they worked as a Field Technician Trainer for Byte by Byte, providing technical services and training to individuals and small businesses. Bill then joined Press-One Customer Care, where they held various positions including Director of Campaign Development, VP, Account Manager, Call Center Manager, and System Administrator, among others. Following this, they worked at Ideal, Inc. as a President, Business Analyst, and Consultant. Bill then worked at Sun Microsystems as a Quoting & Configuration Specialist before moving to Oracle. At Oracle, they held roles such as Quoting and Configuration Specialist, Deal Manager, and Business Operation Sales Support. Most recently, they joined Tharseo IT as the Director of Operations.

Bill Petenes attended Oak Park River Forest High School from 1969 to 1973, where they pursued a general degree. In 1975 and 1976, they studied programming at Triton College without earning a degree. In 1983, they attended the USAF AFCOMS Cornell Officer School, focusing on commissary operations, but did not earn a specific degree.
