Matthew Menis

Matthew Menis has a diverse range of work experience. Starting in 2023, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer at ThayerMahan, Inc. Prior to that, they were a Research and Development Intern at the same company in 2022. From 2018 to 2022, Matthew was the Mechanical Subteam Lead at Cornell University Autonomous Underwater Vehicle. In 2021, they worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Cornell University College of Engineering, where they led lab sections, taught design concepts, and provided feedback to students. Matthew also gained experience as a Production Control Intern at Suffolk County Water Authority in 2021 and as a Summer Intern at Westhampton Architectural Glass in 2020.

Matthew Menis attended Eastport-South Manor Junior Senior High School from 2014 to 2018. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at Cornell University from 2018 to 2022. Following their undergraduate studies, Matthew continued their education at Cornell University and is currently pursuing a Master of Engineering degree in Engineering Management, which started in 2022 and is expected to end in 2023.
