Matias Bentel

Matias Bentel is the executive vice president, and chief brands officer for Brown‑Forman and has served on the Executive Leadership Team since 2019.

In his role, Matias leads the global marketing function. He joined Brown‑Forman in 2008 as the marketing director for Latin America and the Caribbean. He became chief of staff for Latin America in 2014 and managing director for Mexico two years later.

Matias is currently the executive sponsor of the Young Professionals employee resource group (ERG) and previously served as the sponsor for COPA, the ERG supporting the Hispanic/LatinX employee experience.

Prior to joining Brown‑Forman, Matias held various marketing roles at Diageo and Allied Domecq based in São Paulo, Mexico City, and Buenos Aires, where he grew up. He holds a Bachelor of Science in business management from Argentine Catholic University.
