Andrew Shankie is a seasoned development manager with extensive experience in software development and project management. Currently serving as a Development Manager and Lead Developer at The AA since November 2020, Andrew has transitioned through various roles, including Senior Developer and Web Developer, showcasing expertise in DevOps, Agile methodologies, and team leadership. Prior to this, Andrew co-founded Proper Design Cardiff and held positions at climb.rs and Papercut Projects Ltd, where responsibilities varied from user interface development to business analysis. Additional experience encompasses consulting roles at firms like Accenture and Citi, focusing on cost-reduction initiatives and operational efficiency. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Corporate Finance from The University of British Columbia.
