Matt Sanderson has several years of work experience in various digital and analytics roles. Matt currently serves as the Head of Digital Data and Analytics at The AA, a position they have held since December 2022. Prior to this, Matt worked as the Digital Lead at Direct Line Group from July 2021 to December 2022.

Before joining Direct Line Group, Matt was employed at Royal London, where they held the position of Senior CRO Consultant from March 2021 to July 2021 and Conversion Specialist from November 2016 to March 2021.

Earlier in their career, Matt worked at Interactive Investor as a Digital Marketing Manager from September 2015 to November 2016, and as a Web Content Editor from April 2014 to September 2015.

Matt began their professional journey at BRICS Media Network, where they worked as a Web Editor from November 2012 to December 2013.

Matt Sanderson completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of the Arts London in 2012. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications, including Google Analytics for Power Users in November 2019, SessionCam User Accreditation Course in 2019, Jellyfish Training: JavaScript & jQuery in 2018, Oracle Maxymiser (OTO): Campaign Configuration and Analysis in 2017, Google Analytics Individual Qualification in 2016, and Advanced Google Analytics in January 2020. Matt also obtained a certification in SQL from SoloLearn in 2021.
