Jennifer Burrows

Jennifer Burrows serves as the Assistant Director of Sixth Form and History Teacher at The Abbey School in Reading since September 2020, specializing in key stage 3-5 History, IB Theory of Knowledge, and serving as Head of EPQ, alongside tutoring at GCSE and Sixth Form levels while coordinating Gifted and Talented programs. Prior to this role, Jennifer held positions as a History Teacher and EPQ Coordinator at Sheffield High School from September 2016 to August 2020 and at The West Bridgford School from September 2011 to September 2016. Jennifer began their teaching career as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Wycombe Abbey from September 2009 to July 2010. Academically, Jennifer holds a PGCE in Education from the University of Nottingham, a Master of Arts in Ancient Studies/Civilization from the University of Nottingham, and a Bachelor of Arts in the same field from the University of Nottingham.
