Sara Davies

Sara Davies, PHR has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and positions. Sara started their career as an intern at Becky's Fund in 2010 and later interned at Manatos & Manatos. In 2011, they worked as a Development Intern at Evangelical Community Hospital. In 2012, Sara held two positions simultaneously, working as a Marketing Associate and later as an Associate Director of Research & Insights at The Advisory Board Company.

From 2014 to 2019, they were associated with Privia Health, where they held various roles, including Talent Acquisition Specialist/Sr. Specialist, Talent Manager, and Associate Director of People Operations. In their role at Privia Health, Sara worked closely with physicians, health plans, and national payers to improve healthcare outcomes.

Since 2019, Sara has been working at The Health Management Academy. Sara started as the Head of People & Culture and currently serves as the Chief People Officer. The Academy is a community of influential healthcare changemakers focused on improving health for all. Sara is responsible for building the community and fostering connections through executive peer learning.

Sara Davies, PHR, has a diverse education history. From 2008 to 2012, they attended American University and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, with a focus on Communications, Law, Economics, and Government. In 2011, they took part in a study abroad program at the University of Ghana, where they studied Political Science and Social Work. Prior to their university education, Sara attended Selinsgrove Area High School from 2004 to 2008. Aside from their formal education, Sara also holds a PHR certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
