Donna Douglas started their work experience in 2009 as the Director of Operations at The Academy Charter School. In 2020, they were promoted to Sr. Director of Operations. Additionally, since 2013, they have been working at Vansue Associates as a Certified John Maxwell Leadership Coach, Trainer, and Speaker.

Donna Douglas completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Health Services Administration from City University of New York-Herbert H. Lehman College from 1991 to 1996. Donna then pursued a Master of Science degree in Human Resources and Labor Relations from the New York Institute of Technology between 1997 and 2000. Later, they earned their Master of Education (MEd) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from LIU Post from 2012 to 2013.
