Angie Walker has extensive experience in human resources, having held various leadership roles throughout their career.

In 2006, they began their HR career as an HR Business Partner at Greatwide Logistics Services, where they collaborated with operational and functional Vice Presidents to assess human capital and work performance. Angie also led two major department projects during their tenure.

In 2011, Angie joined Amazon.com as an HR Business Partner, where they played a key role in assessing human capital needs and driving change in performance management, employee relations, compensation, and career development.

From 2012 to 2018, they served as the Vice President of Human Resources at Northcentral University, where they were responsible for strategic HR initiatives and guiding stakeholders towards solutions to HR challenges.

In 2019, Angie moved to National Education Partners as the Vice President of Human Resources, where they continued to lead HR initiatives until 2021.

Angie then joined National University System in 2022 as the Vice President of Human Resources, a position they held until mid-2023.

Angie's most recent position is Chief Human Capital Officer at The ACES (The Austin Centers for Exceptional Students), where they are currently leading the organization's human resources department.

Angie holds a PHR certification, SHRM-CP certification, CCP certification, and an MBA degree.

Angie Walker, PHR, SHRM-CP, CCP, MBA, holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Human Resources Management from Northcentral University. Angie also has a BBA degree in Management from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Additionally, Angie has obtained several certifications throughout their career, including the Change Management Practitioner certification from Prosci (obtained in January 2020), the Crucial Conversations - Certified Trainer certification from VitalSmarts (obtained in June 2017), the SHRM-CP certification from SHRM (obtained in June 2015), the Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification from World at Work (obtained in March 2011), and the Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI (obtained in May 2007).
