Megan Bormet

Director, Instructional Content & Resources at Achievement Network (ANet)

Megan Bormet has a diverse work experience in the education field. Megan started their career as a 3rd-grade teacher in the Alum Rock School District in 2008 and then moved on to become a 3rd-grade literacy teacher at Rocketship Public Schools in 2010. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a literacy coach at DC Prep. In 2014, Megan joined KIPP DC as an academic specialist, where they played a pivotal role in establishing Quest Academy, the network's first turnaround effort. During their time at KIPP DC, they also worked as an intervention and assessment coordinator, collaborating with lead teachers and managing school-wide assessments. In 2019, they joined Achievement Network (ANet) as the Director of Instructional Content & Resources. Megan's experience spans across teaching, coaching, and leadership roles, with a focus on improving student outcomes and implementing effective instructional strategies.
