Joanne Webb

Director, Arts Education, The Career Center, at THE ACTORS FUND OF AMERICA

Joanne Webb, M.A. has a strong background in career counseling and development. Joanne worked as a Career Counselor, Trainer, and Coach at Lee Hecht Harrison from 2000 to 2007. During this time, they collaborated with Steve Whiteford on various professional training and coaching projects, including presentation skills. Prior to that, they served as a Creative Development Manager at The Walt Disney Company's Consumer Products Division from 1990 to 2000. Currently, they are the Director of The Career Center at Entertainment Community Fund, Western Region, where they create and develops marketing plans and materials for current and future programming, plans and implements networking events, career panels, and other programs. Joanne also works as a Career Counselor for The Actors Fund Work Program, Western Region, where they develop and delivers workshops and presentations that cater to the needs of performing artists and entertainment industry professionals. Additionally, they establish creative programs to enhance the development of specific populations, such as AIDS/HIV, seniors, and baby boomers.

Joanne Webb, M.A. has pursued higher education in the field of psychology and acting/theatre. Joanne obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Acting/Theatre from Boston University. Later, they attended Antioch University, where they earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Psychology with an individualized concentration in Applied Community Psychology.
