Rina Onishi

Rina Onishi is an accomplished aerospace engineer with extensive experience in spacecraft systems engineering. Currently serving as a Spacecraft Systems Engineer at The Aerospace Corporation since August 2020, Rina has previously held roles as an intern at the same company, where conceptual designs for space missions were developed. Notable past internships include positions at Honda Aircraft Company and NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, focusing on aircraft stability and scientific payload design, respectively. Rina's academic background includes a Master's degree from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Davis, both in Aerospace Engineering. Additionally, Rina has demonstrated leadership as the Team Captain of the Advanced Modeling Aeronautics Team and as a Private Pilot with flight experience.
